Turkish Bread

This past weekend, my husband and I made Turkish bread. We made one batch which didn't turn out that great, because the flour wasn't good. So, we went out and bought a 10 pack of flour and made more. We made at least 8 round breads for 1.78 euros! And a baguette these days costs 90 cents!

How you can make your own Turkish bread
1 packet of yeast mixed with one coffee cup of warm water

2 bags of flour (we used pastry flour)
and 5 cups of water and a little salt

Let the yeast sit 15 minutes, create a well in the flour and then add the water slowly and not all at once. And knead for 15 minutes adding water when necessary. Cover for 1-2 hours.

Then take small pieces and roll them out. We cooked them on the stove.

And then voila! bread! and it's great with feta cheese
